Phase diagrams for vegetable oil/methanol mixtures

⿢Phase diagrams for methanol/oil were performed in a wide range of parameters.⿢The phase states of mixtures with various methanol/oil molar ratios were studied.⿢The conditions to provide supercritical state of the reaction mixture were found.

Based on the analysis of literature data, a number of vegetable oils most promising for biodiesel synthesis were selected. The studies of the phase state and calculations of the phase diagrams for methanol/oil were performed in a wide range of temperature, pressure and alcohol/oil molar ratios. The conditions to provide supercritical state of the reaction mixture at vegetable oil conversion were found.
