Enhancing immunogenicity to PLGA microparticulate systems by incorporation of alginate and RGD-modified alginate

Alginate incorporation to PLGA matrix enhances the immune response elicited by peptide loaded microparticles. Inclusion of specific ligand (RGD) leads to an immunopotentiation of microparticles adjuvanticity, specially promoting Th1 subset.
