Bloc sciatique poplité sous échographie

Ultrasound-guided sciatic popliteal block is easy to perform. It is indicated for foot and ankle surgery. The structure of the sciatic nerve, its ultrasonographic aspect, the techniques of identification of its two components, the realization of the block and the diffusion of the local anaesthetic solution in 2D and 3D views, are described in this paper.
