Infarctus du myocarde périopératoire : des petits riens très efficaces

Postoperative myocardial infarction diagnosis is difficult because of unusual symptoms. It is caused by a compromised myocardial oxygen balance. The diagnosis is supported by an increase in plasma troponin I that is related to the extent of myocardial necrosis and the prognosis. Treatment I based on the use of aspirin, low molecular weight heparin, β-blockers and statins. Coronary fibrinolysis is contraindicated by the postoperative setting.
