Analgésie après circoncision

Circumcision is a very common surgical procedure in pediatrics. It is currently performed in an ambulatory setting and therefore requires a good postoperative pain control. Penile block, preferably to caudal block, is part of a multimodal analgesia combined with acetaminophen and NSAID that guarantees adequate postoperative pain control. Parents need to be instructed to provide systematically systemic analgesia, as ordered, during the first postoperative days.
