Utilisation des corticoïdes en chirurgie cardiaque

Cardiac surgery with cardiopulmonary bypass results in perioperative organ damage caused by the systemic inflammatory response and ischemia/reperfusion injury. It may induce other side effects and posttraumatic stress disorders. Administration of corticosteroids during the perioperative period of cardiac surgery may improve postoperative outcome.
