Plaidoyer pour un mode de fixation des cathéters veineux centraux sans suture

Central venous catheters placement may induce mechanical, thrombotic and septic complications. The latest are related to commensal bacterial colonization of catheters that could be favoured by fixation with sutures. Fixation of central venous catheters by hydrocolloid adhesive dressing could reduce the incidence of such complications and should be evaluated in that goal.
