In France, each year, more than 35,000 patients undergo arthroscopic reconstruction of the anterior cruciate ligament (ACL). The implementation of the clinical pathway supports these outpatients during their less than 12-hour hospital stay. Postoperative course does not require femoral block nor than major opioids. The patient information is critical upstream. Surgical protocols, anesthesia and physiotherapy enable rapid hospital discharge. Patients are contacted at home the day after surgery to check their condition.
