Abdominal wall blocks are commonly performed to improve postoperative analgesia. Ultrasound guidance allows nerve structures visualisation, making it easier performing these nerve blocks. Rectus abdominis sheath block is one of the abdominal wall nerve blocks. Less known than the TAP block or the ilio-inguinal nerve block, it is worth performing because it is a simple and safe technique, effective and associated with very few complications.
