Pré-habilitation avant chirurgie : comment et quels résultats ?

Habilitation to surgery is a preoperative strategy complementary to postoperative rehabilitation. Preoperative patient management includes: cessation of smoking, information about surgery, evaluation of preoperative nutritional status and renutrition, correction of anaemia and management of patient's chronic treatment. Many of these processes have been demonstrated, separately or combined together, that they may improve postoperative morbidity and reduce the length of hospital stay.
