L'induction en séquence rapide chez l'enfant : nouveaux concepts

In children as in adults, rapid sequence induction is the basis of general anaesthetic induction in emergency cases and full stomach situations. It consists of a well-codified sequence of actions, which were codified in the early 1970s. Some aspects of this procedure are reviewed critically in the light of recent progress in pharmacology, airway imaging and monitoring.
