What is the regulation of clinical research? Which administrative steps must be carried out? Who are the different actors and what are their responsibilities in the management of biomedical research? What are the characteristics of clinical research in nutrition? Which methodology should be used? The objective of this paper is to answer these questions, keeping in mind that the rules are regularly modified, and that the elements described today will not apply tomorrow. Moreover, the law does not always respond to all situations and to all questions.
