„Aktion Saubere Hände“ - Keine Chance den Krankenhausinfektionen!

Experts agree, that careful hand hygiene is the single most effective measure to prevent transmission of pathogens. The rate of nosocomial infections can be reduced by improved compliance of hand hygiene, as shown in literature. The „Aktion Saubere Hände“ is a national campaign, carried by the „Nationales Referenzzentrum für die Surveillance von nosokomialen Infektionen“, the „Gesellschaft für Qualitätsmanagement im Gesundheitswesen e. V.“ and the „Aktionsbündnis Patientensicherheit“, aiming at the sustained improvement of hand hygiene behaviour in German hospitals.
