More useful new drugs are now available for the management of chemotherapy induced anaemia, neutropenia, and nausea and vomiting. One can include the treatment of bone metastases with biphosphonates. Recommendations on the use of these treatments have been made by various specialist organisations. This article reviews the recent data concerning these developments in thoracic oncology.
