ZusammenfassungFußkompartimente haben einen klinischen Wert im Rahmen der traumatischen Verletzungen. Die Erkennung der verschiedenen Logen oder Kompartimente des Fußes ist eine Voraussetzung zur adäquaten Behandlung eines traumatisierten Fußes. Eine lokale, eventuell enge anatomische Verbindung zwischen verschiedenen Kompartimenten schließt ein lokales Logensyndrom nicht aus. Es geht darum, die anatomischen Gegebenheiten zu kennen, und im konkreten Fall, insbesondere bei Calcaneus-, Cuboid- oder Lisfranc-Luxationsfrakturen, eine weite Öffnung eines oft engen Kompartiments zu erzielen. Somit erkennt man grundsätzlich vier kleine interossäre Kompartimente, ein mediales, ein laterales, ein plantar oberflächliches, ein plantar tiefes Vorfuß- und ein plantar tiefes Rückfuß-Kompartiment. Beide Plantarnerven verlaufen zwischen den plantar tiefen und oberflächlichen Kompartimenten und sind somit bei verschiedenen hämatogenen Überdrucksituationen gefährdet. Die intrinsischen Muskeln der beiden tiefen plantaren Kompartimente sind ebenfalls durch lokale, nicht ausweichende Blutungen in Gefahr.

Small communication spots between some compartments do not exclude a compartment syndrome with its sequelae. The intrinsic muscles of both deep plantar compartments are also in danger in case of local bleedings which cannot escape.
