Endoplasmic Reticulum Stress Caused by Left Ventricular Hypertrophy in Rats: Effects of Telmisartan

Increased ER stress might be responsible for enhanced cardiomyocyte apoptosis after aortic coarctation. Telmisartan may reduce ER stress and thereby attenuate both apoptosis and cardiac hypertrophy.
