Rifampin Hepatotoxicity Associated With Treatment of Latent Tuberculosis Infection

Rifampin hepatotoxicity associated with treatment of latent tuberculosis infection is rare. Our report suggests that hepatotoxicity is more likely in patients with baseline hepatic dysfunction and the need for increased vigilance in monitoring transaminases in these patients.
