Dose-dependent coronary artery intimal thickening after local delivery of the anti-oxidant tetradecylthioacetic acid from stents

TTA caused a dose-dependent intimal thickening and reduced anti-inflammatory fatty acid index. Contrary to expectations, TTA seems unsuitable as stent coating.
