Murine Typhus as a Cause of Cognitive Impairment: Case Report and a Review of the Literature

Murine typhus should be considered in the differential diagnosis of aseptic meningitis and meningoencephalitis. Early diagnosis and treatment can prevent death and long-term morbidity.
