Le premier traitement psychiatrique établi par Hahnemann en 1792

The study of a short text by Hahnemann, published in 1796, reveals a little known aspect of his medical thought: his approach to mental illness, his etiological conceptions of psychic disorders and his observation method. The context of the Enlightenment and the observational medicine method informed his humanist thinking in the field of mental illness and of the birth of psychiatry with Philippe Pinel at the end of the 18th century.
