Gastrointestinal Endoscopy Nurse Experience and Polyp Detection During Screening Colonoscopy

Procedures staffed by less-experienced gastrointestinal endoscopy nurses have increased odds of not detecting polyps. Subanalysis suggests that detection of hyperplastic polyps explains much of this relationship.
