Syndrome de Sjögren primitif : critères diagnostiques et de suivi

Conversely to diagnostic criteria, no consensus follow-up criteria are available in primary Sjögren's syndrome. Recent improvement in the evaluation of disease activity thanks to the consensus EULAR activity score (the European Sjögren's syndrome Disease Activity index), the knowledge on natural history due to the setting-up of prospective patient cohorts, and the evaluation of new activity biomarkers, could allow the establishment of follow-up criteria. Thus, it could be possible to individualize the therapeutic strategy and identify patients with primary Sjögren's syndrome who would benefit from an immunosuppressive treatment.
