Imagerie des spondyloarthrites

Spondyloarthropathies are a group of rheumatic diseases whose common feature is the inflammation of the spine and sacroiliac joints. Early diagnosis is required for decision-making for early treatment and better prognosis. New compounds, in particular anti-TNF alpha have proved their effectiveness in controlling inflammation and preventing progression to ankylosis. Imaging techniques now allow earlier diagnosis, especially magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) of the spine and sacroiliac joints.
