AFS is not well known. There are many underlying pathogenic mechanisms. The prevalence of AFS is underestimated. CT signs are not specific nor pathognomonic but can be highly suggestive of AFS especially in a clinical and immunoallergological context suggestive of a fungal allergy affecting the nasosinusal cavities.
