Kystes épidermoïdes de la grande citerne et du quatrième ventricule

Epidermoid cysts are rare benign tumors which develop from ectodermic inclusions. Localizations in the cisterna magna and the fourth ventricle are rare, revealed by headaches and/or balance disorders. At imaging, they can be recognized by a characterized density on the CT scan and a signal on the magnetic resonance imaging similar to that observed for cerebrospinal liquid. The treatment is surgical, generally with complete resection. The objective of our survey is to review four cases of epidermoid cysts of the cisterna magna and the fourth ventricle, highlighted with data from the literature.
