Imagerie des craniosténoses

Craniosynostosis consists of premature fusion of one or more cranial sutures causing craniofacial deformation and sometimes neurological complications. Spiral CT with 3D reconstructions is the key examination for the diagnosis of craniosynostosis of both simple and syndromic forms and helps in surgical planning. The authors report on the development and exploration of craniosynostosis and a pictorial review of various types.
