Une hernie rétro-cæcale

Retrocecal hernia is a rare type of internal hernia and an uncommon cause of acute intestinal obstruction. At the present time, prompt and accurate diagnosis depends on the CT findings. The anatomy and characteristic features of this hernia are described. We report a case of retrocecal hernia with strangulation in an elderly woman. Macroscopic views of this internal hernia are presented.
