La pancréatite chronique auto-immune : apport de l'IRM

Auto-immune chronic pancreatitis is a rare variant of chronic pancreatitis that can be misdiagnosed as a pancreas cancer. We report the case of a 19-year-old male with acute symptoms and focal enlargement of pancreas mimicking carcinoma. Imaging, especially MRI, and laboratory findings were helpful to establish the diagnosis and avoid an inappropriate surgical resection.
