Initiation d'une démarche qualité en unité de radiologie vasculaire

Based on a validated method for analysis of professional practices, the Evaluation of Professional Practices aims to initiate actions that will improve the quality of patient management. We report the results of a general practice audit performed by self-evaluation. The goal was to initiate a continuous procedure for quality improvement of patient management practices in a department of vascular and interventional radiology. This audit was undertaken to ascertain baseline professional practices, detect possible dysfunctions, identify areas where improvement is needed and determine priorities for future actions. It also aimed to favor practitioners' awareness about the need to initiate and participate in a continuous quality control process.
