Imagerie des localisations extra-thoraciques de la sarcoïdose

Sarcoidosis is a multisystemic granulomatous disease of unknown origin that can affect any organ. Mediastinal and pulmonary involvement is the most common and the best known manifestation but an extra-thoracic involvement is not exceptional. Radiological findings are inconstant, poorly specific and sometimes alarming. The general radiologist should be familiar with the wide variety of clinical and radiological manifestations in order to best help the clinician. We present a pictorial essay with extra-thoracic cases of sarcoidosis from our institution. All of them were proved to be sarcoidosis, either by biopsy or by immunodepressive treatment.
