Imagerie de la neurosarcoïdose

Sarcoidosis is a multisystemic affection whose pathogenesis implies the formation of a characteristic inflammatory lesion, the epithelioid and giganto-cellular granuloma. Neurological attack is one of the rare manifestations of sarcoidosis, characterized by its clinical polymorphism since it can involve, to variable degrees, the entire nervous system at all of its different levels. Diagnosis is difficult and depends on a combination of suggestive clinical arguments and complementary findings. MRI, study of the cerebrospinal liquid, intradermal reaction to tuberculin, serum and urinary phosphorus and calcium, and converting enzyme assay are contributive. We present a series of 15 cases and analyze the CT scan and MRI aspects of neurosarcoidosis.
