Proper knowledgeof vascular anatomy and the pathogenic mechanism of hemoptysis is fundamental for understand hemoptysis and provide patient care.In this article, after a description of the normal bronchial vascularanatomy, we detail the mechanism of systemic hypervascularisation mechanisms, focusing on hemoptysis arising from the pulmonary artery.
