Endoscopic endonasal surgery of the sphenoid sinus: Extended approaches

Recent advances in surgical instrumentation and endoscopic techniques have allowed surgeons improved endonasal access to the sinonasal tract and skull base. In this report, we discuss our experience with the various endoscopic endonasal approaches to the sphenoid sinus and their role in addressing both intrinsic and extrinsic sphenoid sinus pathologies.
