Esophagopharyngeal reflux

EPR is characterized by regurgitation of proximal esophageal contents into the laryngopharynx. The symptoms are similar to LPR. EPR appears to be caused by a disorder of volume clearance and esophageal dysmotility not acid and peptic injury.
