The sensitivity of preoperative scanning in regional recurrence of papillary thyroid cancer

Preoperative TBS and/or US cannot satisfactorily predict metastatic lymph node involvement and cannot safely delineate limited surgery to replace formal neck dissection in patients with regionally recurrent PTC.
