Use of frozen sections in the examination of sentinel lymph nodes in patients with melanoma

This article examines the different views regarding the use of frozen sections and other rapid techniques in sentinel lymph nodes from patients with cutaneous melanoma. Special attention is given to the pros and cons of such techniques.
