Evaluation of Brain Natriuretic Peptide Levels in Hyperthyroidism and Hypothyroidism

The current study provides additional insight into the diagnostic value of BNP in the presence of coexistent thyroid dysfunction and demonstrates important independent effects of thyroid hormones upon BNP plasma concentrations.
