Induction of adipose-derived stem cell into motoneuron-like cells using selegiline as preinducer

► Adipose derived stem cells (ADSCs) were derived from rat fat tissue. ► ADSCs preinduced and induced into motoneuron-like cells (MNLCs), using selegiline as preinducer. ► MNLCs were characterized by RT-PCR, immunohistochemistry and real time PCR. ► Functional assay confirms the release of synaptic vesicles. ► MNLCs innervated as they were cocultured with myotubes.
