Effects of repeated tickling on conditioned fear and hormonal responses in socially isolated rats

► Repeated tickling stimulation significantly diminished fear-induced freezing. ► Tickling significantly decreased plasma catecholamine levels in the retention test. ► Tickled and non-tickled rats showed similar levels of plasma corticosterone.
