CNS penetration of the opioid glycopeptide MMP-2200: A microdialysis study

► Novel glycosylated opioid peptide MMP-2200 is opioid mu and delta receptor agonist. ► MMP-2200 reached dorsolateral striatum (DLS) after systemic administration (i.p.). ► MMP-2200 concentration in DLS reached nM range within 10 min. ► Endogenous leu-enkephalin levels were unchanged after MMP-2200 administration.
