Abnormal innervation patterns in the anorectum of ETU-induced fetal rats with anorectal malformations

► ARMs was associated with a global neuromuscular maldevelopment of anorectum. ► We found that the innervation pattern within the terminal rectum in ARMs embryos were different to normal in gestational course. ► The abnormal innervation pattern in ARMs might have some postoperative effect.
