چکیده انگلیسی
► Bacterial community was enriched in chemostat for degradation of dibenzofuran (DF). ► Dibenzofuran utilization was tested in soil microcosm by Pseudomonas aeruginosa. ► DGGE analysis indicated fate and potency of bacterium for utilization of DF. ► Bacterium enriched in alkaline condition utilized DF after 180 days in microcosm. ► The complete degradation of DF was by formation of gentisic acid and catechol.
