Montanide™ ISA 71 VG adjuvant enhances antibody and cell-mediated immune responses to profilin subunit antigen vaccination and promotes protection against Eimeria acervulina and Eimeria tenella

► Chickens vaccinated with profilin plus ISA 71 showed reduced fecal oocyst shedding. ► T-cell responses were higher in the profilin plus ISA 71 group. ► The adjuvant-vaccine combination enhanced profilin-specific serum antibody levels.
