Semi-automatic determination of the carbon and oxygen stable isotope compositions of calcite and dolomite in natural mixtures

► This method allows the determination of δ13C and δ18O of dolomite and calcite mixtures. ► It combines XRD measurements and automated isotopic measurements. ► It is designed for a MultiPrep™ system online with a Dual-Inlet Isoprime™ IRMS. ► The measurements are fast and repeatable for sample size as low as 300 μg. ► Errors are evaluated with a Monte-Carlo procedure of error propagation.
