Rice (Oryza sativa L.) response and weed control from tank-mix applications of saflufenacil and imazethapyr

► Saflufenacil applied postemergence injures rice, but does not reduce rice yield. ► Hemp sesbania is effectively controlled by saflufenacil. ► Control of red rice by imazethapyr is not adversely affected by tank-mixing with saflufenacil. ► Saflufenacil appears to be an effective herbicide candidate for broadleaf control in rice.
