Internal tide interactions in the Bay of Biscay: Observations and modelling

► Three dimensional dynamics of Internal Tides (ITs) are explored in the Bay of Biscay. ► Interactions between beams are modelled. ► Strong IT current modelled in the mid-Bay of Biscay is concordant with observations. ► ITs are intensified where the deep ocean ITs impinge on the seasonal thermocline.
