Dense shelf water formation and brine-driven circulation in the Adélie and George V Land region

► We investigate the DSW formation/export from the AGVL region, East Antarctica. ► Two distinct flow patterns characterize the seasonal ocean circulation. ► The seasonal circulations are driven by the brine-rejection in the coastal polynyas.
