Embedding complete holomorphic discs through discrete sets

Let Δ be the open unit disc in CC and let BB be the open unit ball in C2C2. We prove that every discrete subset of BB is contained in the range φ(Δ)φ(Δ) of a complete, proper holomorphic embedding φ:Δ→Bφ:Δ→B.
