On the modulus of the Grötzsch ring

We study monotonicity, concavity and convexity properties of the functionGr(α)=μ(rα)α(00), where μ denotes the modulus of the Grötzsch ring. Moreover, we apply our results to obtain various sharp functional inequalities.
