Removable sets for Hölder continuous solutions of elliptic equations involving variable exponent

We prove the existence and continuity of solutions to obstacle problems with p(x)p(x)-type nonstandard growth, and establish the conditions of removability of closed sets for Hölder continuous solutions of the elliptic equations in the framework of variable exponent Sobolev spaces.
